My name is John Cashman. I am the owner of Lavender Hill Spa in Calistoga, California.

Although I’m confirmed ludite, I feel it’s important through this media to introduce our clients to the latest treatments, products and workshops that will become available in the coming months. We are in the last week of harvesting 3,000 lavender plants that are farmed in Mount Shasta, California.

This coming Sunday, August 12 we will be presenting our first Lavender Festival at our Spa in Calistoga. We will be showcasing the distillation of fresh lavender into our precious essential oil which will be available at the festival. In addition we will have lavender water free of charge (please bring your own 8 oz. container), lavender wreaths, bunches of lavender, lavender water for sale and English and French organic lavender oil.

From my travels in the Far East I have acquired beautiful batiks, stone garden sculptures, mahogany bowls and much more, and these will be available for sale at the Festival.

The first distillation of lavender will begin on Sunday at 10am, and we encourage you all to participate in this special event.
In the future I will be highlighting new products, new therapies from the Far East that have proven healing qualities.
